Come join the New Paradigm Hempery for a day of fun, connection and learning!
This is a private event for Hempery friends and new friends to be. Please RSVP if you are planning to attend by emailing Meagan.
Part 1 - Winter Fun Times at the Hempery - 1-4:30pm - at The Hempery
Bring yourself, your friends, your family, or anyone in between, to the Hempery for a fun-filled afternoon.
Snack Potluck - if you can please bring a high vibrational snack to share. The Hempery will be offering a hot chocolate/hemp beverage and hemp coffee.
Mini Market - if you have wares to sell or a project to share, then bring your wares and brochures and set up in the mini market! If you don’t have wares to sell or trade then consider being a customer
Outdoor activities - weather depending… there will be sledding, skating, x-country skiing, snowshoeing and no matter the weather there will be a big fire with warm beverages to go with.
Please bring items (skis, sleds, etc.) to play with depending on weather and what works for you.
This event will be based out of a heated space so is open to all ages and abilities.
Part 2 - in Bearspaw - 5-8pm - Potluck and Information Session
Note: this part of the day is for those who desire to know more about the Hempery and the coming season including residing in the house on the land.
At 5/5:30, we will reconvene in Bearspaw (40 mins from the Hempery towards Calgary) for a potluck and information session.
Potluck 5:00-6:30 - and then the information session will be from 6:30-7:30, with informal conversation and a question period happening after.
During the information session, Luc and Meagan will be presenting about the possibility of renting the house at the Hempery starting in the Spring. We will be outlining the possibility for community members to live in the house, and work on the farm. We will also discuss the upcoming growing season.
What to bring to the Hempery:
- Warm clothing
- A change of socks
- Snack to share
- Wares to sell at our market
- Skates, cross-country skis, or any other winter toys.
What to bring to the Potluck/Info Session:
- Whatever dish you decide to create!
Vegetarian options are usually more flexible (there tend to be less meatatarians) but feel free to bring whatever you wish.
